Aligned Incentives was founded in 2019 by six professionals who had been reselling gift cards on the side since 2015. We were regulars at our local (Austin, TX) miles and points meetup and soon discovered we all worked with gift cards, too. We didn’t like options then available for gift card reselling and set out to fix it. We think we’ve created a system that is easy enough for anyone to get started in the business and robust enough to be useful even for industry veterans.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to mail you gift cards?
No, please don’t! Many of our deals are for electronic gift cards but even when the deal is in-store or for shipped physical gift cards, we still accept the cards electronically through the portal.
Is there a minimum to get paid?
Nope, you can sell us a single $25 gift card if you want, and that’s probably not a bad way to dip your toe in the water and get started!
How do I get paid?
Pay periods run Monday-Sunday. We send payment via ACH (electronic bank transfer) on the 2nd Thursday after the pay period ends.
Why do I have to provide an ID to sign up?
Gift cards can be a vector for money laundering. As a condition of having access to the ACH system, our bank requires that verify each customer. We use a third party ID verification service called Bluecheck to do the check. The uploads go directly to them and they tell us if you’re approved or denied. They store your data, not us, and we don’t see your data unless there is an issue that requires them to pull it from cold storage. You’ll need to provide your ID and a selfie so we suggest signing up on your phone.
